Hi guys,
I'm trying to reformat my friend's computer and re-install windows xp professional on it , but i faced a problem which is that when i set the bios to boot from cd and restart the computer , the computer ignore that and continue loading windows from the hard drive .
I tried to run a new windows installation after logging into windows from the hard drive but unfortunately that will only let me make a fresh install and not reformatting the drive..
I tried many ways until i fed up , so i removed the hard drive , plugged it in another pc and formatted it , and set the allocation type to NTFS .
but now when i plugged the drive again in its pc and tried to boot from cd , i get a message saying "NTLDR is missing or not found" and i can only press ctrl+desl + Alt to restart the pc ..
I tried to reboot it through a windows startup floppy disk but that won't let me run the windows xp setup because that setup cannot run in DOS enviroment , so what to do?
I hope someone can help cause i'm in a big trouble now :-(
