This is an endemic product in windows activation when some new service packs are installed, and as eb said above, you will have to call MS, your system will shut down soon if you dont -- only other way is to do a totally clean install, which will wipe out your existing programs, as you will have to start with a totally blank drive to get rid of the activation error, else it will plague the new install if not a clean drive.

I would contact MS support for this issue. They normaly charge for there support, but since this is a problem with the activation of the OS they may wave the charge (you can always ask them if they will wave the charge, and if they will not just hang up).
