The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. hi
i have 2 domain controllers SRV1 and SRV2, SRV1 being the Primary
when running the dcdaig tool with the /e switch on SRV2 i am getting the following messaga at the sysvol test

Test result from SRV1
Starting test: Services
      RPCLOCATOR Service is stopped on [SRV1]
      TrkWks Service is stopped on [SRV1]
      TrkSvr Service is stopped on [SRV1]
   ......................... SRV1 failed test Services

Starting test: frssysvol
   Error: No record of File Replication System, SYSVOL started.
   The Active Directory may be prevented from starting.
   There are errors after the SYSVOL has been shared.
   The SYSVOL can prevent the AD from starting.
   ......................... SRV1 passed test frssysvol

test result from SRV2
Starting test: frssysvol
   Error: No record of File Replication System, SYSVOL started.
   The Active Directory may be prevented from starting.
   There are errors after the SYSVOL has been shared.
   The SYSVOL can prevent the AD from starting.

when running the diag tool on SRV1 i am only getting the following diag result

 Starting test: frsevent
    There are warning or error events within the last 24 hours after the
    SYSVOL has been shared.  Failing SYSVOL replication problems may cause
    Group Policy problems.
    ......................... SRV1 failed test frsevent

those 2 dc are on 2 seperate network separated by an internal firewall
SRV1 is running win2003server and SRV2 win2000 server
