Windows XP Pro, SP2: Windows Startup EXTREMELY SLOW!!!

I do not know what is causing this; I ran a Virus Check TWICE and nothing was found:

When I start up Windows, the entire process is EXTREMELY SLOW, taking as much time as 8 minutes!
By Process, I mean the "logo" at the beginning, Windows is Starting Up, and Loading your Personal..."

Something has happened: I don't know what or why!

PLEASE!  Someone help me with this!!!
