Browse All TopicsI am running Microsoft Vista RTM. When I launch Windows Media Player 11, Vista reports that it has stopped working and closes it down. If I launch it again, it will work but occasionally freeze up the system. How hard could it have been to include an uninstall option or detect and repair?

you cannot reinstall the WMP11 on Vista but try to uninstall any codecs or try to download any paches avilabe for Vista, see if it fixes the problem. however if it does not solve, you may have to reload Vista.
