FireWall trouble

Hi

my window xp firewall stop working  say when clikcing it " it the ICS internet connection sharing" not working or mark for delete i check it there and ok but still wont work should i ask you how to get it going  again or should i leave it as the shop say win xp firewall not all that good also i have down load a fire wall  from Comodo  any advise should i get window xp firewall  going or stick with the comodo firewall what is best for me ? . if you say get windoe firewall going can you help not i stick with comodo .
