ANY WAY TO TELL WHICH VERSION OF XP PRO A PRODUCT KEY GOES WITH?

I recently purchased two IBM Thinkpads off ebay and they both came without operating systems installed but they have their COA and Product Keys with them.
Trouble is I don't know which version of XP Pro to get to try to install because I know that certain Product Keys will only install with Certain versions of XP (ie OEM, Corporate, Retail) Is there some way to tell by the numbers or the sticker which version it goes with? Or is there a utility program that can read the numbers and tell you which version the Product Key goes with?
