Windows Vista - Invalid Drive H: During Software Install

Asked by smconsult in Operating Systems Miscellaneous

Tags: , , ,

OK, this is driving me nuts.

I am the office guinea pig, and have Vista loaded on my laptop.  This is Vista Business, which came as a part of TechNet Plus.

So when I try to install or uninstall most software packages, I get an "Invalid Drive H:" error, and the (un)install process fails.

I know that there are probably not a lot of Vista users out there yet, but I am hoping that perhaps someone might have some insight into this.

Thanks in advance.
