How to shutdown AS400 SERVER

Hi! There,

I have AS400 e series server and I would like to shut is down. Is there any procedure to do a shutdown or Can I just press the power Off button on the server. Also to bring it back up I would like to know about it as well.

Sorry I am putting this question as a general I did not know what group it should be part of.

at prompt type:  GO POWER  
This will bring up the the AS/400 Shutdown Menu, then Enter option # 3 and confirm operation with F16. This will shut down the AS400.

To bring it back up just power it back on.

Do you know if the TCP IP Services will startup. If not what is the command to do it.

TCP/IP should start up, if not    STRTCP  is the command to do so.
