Net use command (bat file)

@echo off

Echo Please wait

NET USE F: \\WIN2008-SRV\SHARE PASSWORD /USER:internal.local\USERNAME

Everytime i try to run this bat i get

System Error: 53
The network path was not found.  

What am i doing wrong in this script ?

The servername is win2008-srv   if i make a connection from "Run menu" and press \\win2008-srv i get prompted for username + password.

The only difference i see is that from the Run menu you don't enter the share name. Are you sure there isn't some typo in the share name?

Password goes after username
NET USE [devicename | *] [\\computername\sharename[\volume] [password | *]]

This is making me crazy! I have maked theese script many times before! I simply just cant get this to work.

I have tried to switch around of username + password!

I use this script at home (And it works)

net use W: \\privatesrv\1tb password /USER:jarlk

Check the following

1 is file and printer sharing eanbled on the server?
2 Can you ping the server by name and IP address
3 ensure Netbois over TCP is enabled
4 try net use f: \\serveripaddress\share password /user etc

DCMBS : In DK where i come from we have "ÆØÅ" the share was named "Fælles" if i rename this to faelles i can map the drive.

Thanks for the credit but I think you really should have awarded all the points to deroode.  My answer was a correct troubleshooting list but deroode was spot on with the typo in the sharename remark. that is what the problem was.  It may have intentionally typed in but that is not really that important here
