How to get the millinseconds in hp unix?

This is the sample for linux, but doesn;t work in hp unix.... anyone can tell me the comand?

looks like you can't do it from the shell and would have to do it wit hperl or C:

As it points out in that answer on the HP forums, calling an external command (even on your Linux system) will distort the answer.

What are you trying to achieve with this? If it's how long a program takes to run, look at the "time" or "timex" commands, that will execute the actual program and report useful info back.
