How do I fix this error: STOP: c000021a (Fatal System Error). I receive this on my laptop when I boot up.

Here is the complete error message I receive:
STOP: c000021a (Fatal System Error)

The windows logon process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000094 (0x00000000) (0x00000000).

The system has been shut down.

Here is a link to a set of instructions I followed twice successfully tyo fix this problem. Obviously, it may or may not work for you. It involves using a Knoppix Live Cd to boot the system and a little copying and pasting, but is fairly simple and straightforward.

1) Does this also happen  in Safe Mode using  F8 ?

2) Have you done hardware diagnostics ?
