When atempting to generate a catalog file I get the following error:

Windows System Image Manager execution failed

Details: Parameter count mismatch

The Windows System Image Manager is installed on the same server as the Windows Deployment Services (Windows 2008).

We have uninstalled and reinstalled but the Windows System Image Manager still give us the execution failed error when we try to create an answer file.

The Windows System Image Manager cannot create catalog files for Windows images of different architecture types. So if the Windows Deployment Server is x64 the you need to use an install.wim file from an Windows 2008 x64 dvd to create catalog file. Then you will be able to create and save answer files.
