Citrix Client and Internet Explorer 9
When using IE9 and Citrix we are getting a dialog box asking 'Do you want to open or save Launch.ICA' I have updated the Citrix on-line plug in client to version 12.1.44.1 and put the Citrix server web address in the trusted domains. What can I do to get the prompt to stop asking to open or save launch.ica?

Don't think it is a faulty Citrix plug-in. After researching this issue it seems that Citrix has a known problem with IE9. They issued an updated plug-in which I have installed and it still does not work with IE9. I believe it is the download manager in IE9 that keeps appearing.
I found that updated plugin:
Tested it with a clean VM of Windows 7 Enterprise 32 Bit, installed IE9 (9.0.8112.16421, 9.0.3), activated intranet security settings after first start, installed Online-Plugin Web and could connect to local WI 4.6 and start applications without problems in a LAN enviroment.

I read through the KB article. I am using Win 7 Pro 64 bit with IE9 64 bit. Citrix works on my home notebook computer using Win 7 Pro 32 bit with IE9 32 bit. I think it must be something with 64 bit version.
Tested again with Win 7 64bit
IE9 32bit: After putting the WI site into "trusted sites" it works the way it should. No download.
IE9 64bit: No luck. Also the WI doesnt recognize the installed client.
You tried it with IE9 32bit too?
Read through Citrix-Thread and found no additional clues:

I found that IE 9 32 bit works fine when the WI site is in trusted site. With IE 9 64 bit it works as long as I click on Open in the launch.ica download manager prompt. However when I am using IE 9 32 bit with Outlook Web Access (Exchange 2007) I get the following error when opening emails:
Outlook Web Access has encountered a web browsing error
This only occurs with IE 9 32 bit, 64 bit works fine. I know this is another issue but I would like the users to use one IE 9 version. Not have to use 32 bit for Citrix and 64 bit for Web Outlook.
Thanks for all your help.
