How do I print reports from Quicken 2008 using HP Photosmart 8250

HP printer appears to accept the Print commant from Quicken up to moving a piece of paper up to the rollers.  From there the HP small screen shows printing taking place, but nothing is happening.  When I cancel the print command the HP send the one piece of blank paper out as if it were printed.
