Excel TMP file on NTFS folder + no security tab + access denied on any action (eg delete/rename)

It would appear that MS Excel created a TMP file for a file named RECON FY07-08.xls (RECON FY07-08.xls~RF14e50bt.TMP) the security tab is not available either on the local server (W2K) or XP-SP2 PC. Any action causes Access Denied. I tried using AccessEnum Sysinternal tools but Read Write Deny all show ???

We can open and close the original file but cannot do anything with this TMP file. It hangs on our Robocopy backup Access Denied and throws an error on our TSM backup.



Also using cacls &  xcacls shows access denied...Start Free Trial
