Cannot Print to a remote printer from the AIX OS

Hi,

I have set up a remote printer with a public IP address (64.xxx.xxx.xxx) that is on the lan side of a Netopia router.  I can print to this printer from the site which hosts the AIX box provided it is from a Windows Printer with the mfg's  driver installed, which is a Cognitive Advantage LX barcode printer.  The printer on the AIX box has been set up with the proper IP address, GW and it has a port of 9100.  Not sure what driver they are using but this printer is in use at the local lan site to print bar codes. This info was relayed to me, as I do not have access to the AIX box.  All windows print tests are successful to this printer. The local lan uses a private IP address.  Also the remote printer's IP address, GW and subnet mask are correct.

The local AIX host site has a PIX 501 installed and the IP address of the AIX system is exempted from NAT because remote users at the remote site use a vpn to access the business software. The IP address of the AIX is a 192.168.xxx.xxx) The PIX on the lan side basically allows all data out and high security resides on the WAN side.  It was set up using the wizards and I have experienced no problems with any other service which must go out of the PIX to the Internet or the remote site, other than the AIX printing to this printer.  I was told the queue does not empty on the AIX printer.  If there are other resoutions which would solve me problem I am open to them.
