I am upgrading to my P520 to Technology Level 5 this weekend on AIX 5.3. I have never installed any updates or anything on this server, so it's at 5.3.00 and has never had any firmware updates installed. I was told I should update the firmware first. So I downloaded System Firmware SF240_284 (9111-520) - RPM and now I need to install it. I can't find any directions for doing this. I can find instructions on "permanently" installing it, but that's after it's had a "temporary" install done. So, how do you initially install this thing? Please help! Thanks!
