Comparing filenames in two directories

Asked by riazpk in IBM AIX Unix

Tags: Related to some R&D

Dear Experts,
I am using AIX Version 5.3.

Say i have two directories dir1 & dir2. Both directories contain binary files. I want to compare the file names only (and not the contents) and list down the file names which (say) are in dir1 but not in dir2. How i can do this?
