Folder Permissions On IBM AIX Server --Unix

We have an IBM server running AIX.  I know next to nothing when it comes to operating this server.  The problem we are having is probably simple.  We have a program that reads and writes to this server.  When running the programs windows comes up and asks for their login and password to access a folder on the AIX server.  We would like it to not do that.  There are some users that do not have to enter their login and password but no one knows how to work around this.  I heard that it could be in the user setup on the AIX server, something like making AIX recognize your windows logon credentials.  I have no clue what other information to provide since I hardly know what I'm doing here.    So the bottom line of this problem is we would like for this user to not have to enter their login and password every time.  We are testing it by going to start > run and doing  \\IP ADDRESS  and that is when it asks for login.Start Free Trial
