ftp error message 452 Error writing file when connect to AIX server

I have fileone to be ftp'ed to AIX server:
-rw-r----- 1 root sys 1073741312 Sep 19 10:27 expref3.dmp

i use root account in the ftp connection.

but, I am getting this error:

ftp> put expref3.dmp
200 PORT command successful.
150 Opening data connection for expref3.dmp
452 Error writing file: A file cannot be larger than the value set by ulimit.

how i can solve this prop.
