Is there a way to list folder names and file counts in UNIX without having to go into each folder and subfolder?

I'm looking to find an easy command or way to get file counts in folders and subfolders in UNIX. I have this command: ls -1 | wc -l, but I don't want to go into each folder and run it. Looking for a much easier way!Start Free Trial
