i still dont understand the significant of export volume group and import volume group.
Can someone tell me the scenario. i have read the ibm study guide it saying because you want move to another system but i dont understand .. is it san storage or what?
From the IBM study guide i read to import the volume group you need the the export it first.
the step will be
1.exportvg thevgyoudontlike
2.importvg -y thevgyoudontlike hdisk2
in this case it is imported to hdisk2
but how if the volume group that you want to import has 4-5 hard disk inside the volume group you want to import .. how to import it ..how the command looks like??
