AIX -Oracle (Performance)

Looks like there is an issue with running oracle on AIX. what ever command I run the system is returning KILLED..What might be the issue. If the issue is with memory allocation, how can this be checked.

oracle@ $ sqlplus

[/home/oracle]

root@csc06ora002 # vmstat 2 5

[/tmp]
