Browse All TopicsI'm the using a Verio VPS running FreeBSD. I have written the following simple shell script:
=====
#!/bin/tcsh
cat /dev/null > /var/log/messages
cat /dev/null > /var/mail/spam
/usr/local/urchin5/bin/urc
======
the script has 774 permissions.
When running the script as root, from the directory in which the script resides, I get the following error:
./myscript.sh: Command not found.
Why would I get command not found? the shell script is right in the directory in which I'm running the command, the permissions seem ok, and I running as root?
Thanks.

The "Command not found" might not refer to the script you are running, but to the interpreter you are using! chin" exists?
