Need help with ftpd 425 can't build data connection: Operation Timed out.

Hi, i'm trying to setup an ftp server. So user can login to the ftp server from internet explorer. And drop files in the ftp connection screen. (for windows noobs)

I want them to let them connect to

ftp://username:password@server

and then they see a map (directory, folder) where they can upload photos.
I have setup on my freeBSD server an ftp server ftpd. created user account via useradd.

When I make a connection from home (using IE 5.1) I know now it is 7 but I only have 5.1 don't want to update unless it is needed for the solution.

I get a error

200 Type set to A
200 Port command succesful
425 Can't build data connection: Operation times out.



What can you suggest to do.
I'm pretty newbie to freeBSD
But I know my ways around the computer.Start Free Trial
