Setting a new Adobe Flash Media Server: which OS (Fedora, Red Hat or Windows)

Hi X-perts,

I need to set up a new dedicated server with the Adobe Flash Media Server. Since it is a fresh server, I have a few choices of OS (the options provided by the hosting company):

# FreeBSD
# Fedora
# CentOS
# Windows 2003- $75 setup. $25/mo
# Windows 2008- $75 Setup FREE, $89/mo

I have never setup FMS and, according to Adobe it runs on win2003 or Red Hat. I need an advice from someone who installed FMS across different systems:

1) Are there any troubles of installing it on Fedora, which supposedly should be the same as RedHat?
2) Installation on FreeBSD? Any problems I can experience?
3) Should I force hosting company to install RedHat? Does it make sense to pay extra for RedHat over Fedora?
4) I would rather stick on *nix based OS than jumping to Win2003. Any thoughts on this?

The bottom line: I need to select the easiest OS to install FMS, preferably license free

Any suggestions?
