FreeBSD portupgrade problem

Hi Experts,

I am new to BSD and need to upgrade software packages on a FreeBSD 6.4 server, specifically the cups printing and clamav packages.

Following the Handbook, I did the following:

-ran pkg_version -v, got lots of outdated packages, including cups
-ran pkgdb -F, got "cd: can't cd to /usr/ports/sysutils/portupgrade", then
a bunch of 'stale origin' messages, including:

"Stale origin: 'ports-mgmt/pkg_install': perhaps moved or obsoleted.

To skip it without asking in future, please list it in HOLD_PKGS.

and ending with:

can't convert nil into String"

run portupgrade -rR portupgrade
and pkgdb -F after
this fixes most of errors.
