Question

Stop running php script on FreeBSD

I have a php script that runs at this moment on FreBSD machine.
It runs with ignore_user_abort() therefore I can't stop it simply closing the browser.
I want to stop it as it has an error in it and only uses the system sources at this moment.
But how can I stop it without reboot (it is production server)?
I have the root access to the system.

Kill the process. use `pas ax | grep php` or something similar to get it's pid (process id) and the use the `kill` command to kill it, e.g.

[root@core ~]$ ps ax | grep php
32498 ?        S      0:02 /usr/bin/php /var/www/html/some_process.php
32590 ?        S      0:02 /usr/bin/php /var/www/html/some_process.php
32605 pts/0    S+     0:00 grep php
[root@niche-core-1 ~]$ kill 32590
[root@core ~]$ ps ax | grep php
32498 ?        S      0:02 /usr/bin/php /var/www/html/some_process.php
32630 pts/0    S+     0:00 grep php

pas ax | grep php
pas: Command not found.

well, it was type, I understand
it should be
ps ax | grep php

But the answer I get is

14255  p3  R+     0:00.00 grep php
silverjet# kill 14255
14255: No such process

Also every time I execute ps ax | grep php
I get another number of process

OK, then try to find the web server process that runs the process, like:

ps ax | grep http
---

or maybe:
---
ps ax | grep apache
---
