How do I get my slave (secondary masters) to resolve public requests?

Asked by supercell29 in FreeBSD, BSD Unix, Domain Name Service (DNS)

Tags: secondary master, slave, BIND, 9.4.2, FreeBSD

Hello,

  My current setup:

MASTER DNS (works fine): FreeBSD 7.0, BIND 9.4.2
SECONDARY MASTER(S) (receive records from MASTER, but cannot resolve any outside requests): FreeBSD 7.0, BIND 9.4.2

CISCO ASA: PORT 53 IS NATTED TO BOTH THE MASTER AND EACH OF THE SLAVES.
   Problem:

I would like ALL FOUR name servers to respond to all public requests. At this time only the MASTER is responding. What do I need in my SLAVE configs to allow them, too, to respond? Is this possible, or will the slaves only respond when MASTER is down, or dead?
