The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Currently using this script:
date >> /home/isit/fs61tracker.txt
ps -ef | grep -v "grep fs6.1" | grep fs6.1 >> /home/isit/fs61tracker.txt

Output appears as the following:

Fri Jul 11 08:28:00 EDT 2008
   johnq 6609  2735  0 08:15:54 ?         0:00 fs6.1 (johnq@8675309:3484/SOCKET) -1 545 0 1
   graym 2631  2735  0 08:04:54 ?         0:00 fs6.1 (graym@8675310:3808/SOCKET) -1 545 0 1
   donnal 12949  2735  6 08:27:53 ?         0:00 fs6.1 (donnal@my-crystal:6020/SOCKET) -1 545 0 1
   cidh 3804  2735  0 07:01:53 ?         0:00 fs6.1 (cidh@8675311:1056/SOCKET) -1 545 0 1
   bobrl 12686  2735  0 08:27:07 ?         0:00 fs6.1 (bobrl@my-crystal:4828/SOCKET) -1 545 0 1

The perfect output for me would be like this:
07/11/08   08:28:00   johnq@8675309
07/11/08   08:28:00   graym@8675310
07/11/08   08:28:00   donnal@my-crystal
07/11/08   08:28:00   cidh@8675311
07/11/08   08:28:00   bobrl@my-crystal

What I seek is a script that can accomplish the above output.
