Hi All, We are comparing the HP XP 24000 over the Sun 9900 Series/Equivilent for our Tier 1 enviornment. Fundamentally I understand the relationship between all of these companies. HP OEM's from HDS, and Sun is just a reseller of Hitachi....yada yada yada. I'm struggling with who I should choose? SRM will play a major role with my decision along with SLA's that can meet the business requirment of 6 Hour onsite repair. Proactive instead of reactive also. HP's Storage Essentials from my understanding is by far the best SRM tool on the market so that is one for HP, but isnt SUN's Operations manager Software OEM'd" from HP??? What about any poor experiences with support?
