recovering a corrupted profile

I have a MAC that boots, asks for a profile, i select a profile, put in the password, then the machine goes into screen savers. no icons, no 'nothing' I can get in with the administrator profile. Is the user profile corrupt? if so, how can i recover the settings?Start Free Trial
