13239
28989
11115
.......
29875898
Text files file1, file2, ...., file179 contain records (not in sorted order)
and the format of the records in file1, ..., file179 are (there may be a
variable length space preceding each line) :
file1:
111
......
3598
...
file179:
91123898
....
999898988
I need a script that will search file1 to file179 to see if each record in fileA
is found in which of the file1 to file179 & if a record is found in fileX, output
this record followed by the text " found in file " & then the file it's found in.
Eg:
If records 11115 & 29875898 are found in file15 & file133, then output to
file foundin.txt:
11115 found in file15
29875898 found in file133
& finally sort file foundin.txt such that fileX is the primary sort key &
the records (11115 & 29875898) are secondary sort key
