SCO Unix error while mounting /directory

i have a SCO unix server that is very old and i just powered it on today. we have an old database that runs on this box that the directory is /lms when i run SCOADMIN and go to file systems and try to mount the filesystem it gives this error. it has been a long time since i have touched this box. what does this error mean is there a bad drive etc... and what are my other options to try

error while mounting /lms
General failure occurred in processing the request
the mount action failed to mount /lms.
mount /dev/lms: no such device or address

Sounds like /lms is on a secondary drive that the OS is not seeing. Maybe get some hardware detail with regard to physical disk drives.

Also give the output of "hwconfig" command.

Also, try "divvy" from the command prompt and see if the primary disk shows that filesystem.

Contents of directory  /dev/rdsk  would show disks that HAVE been configured - 0s0 is the first 1s0 is second... that only shows nodes that were configured at some time but may provide a clue.

Look at this file
/etc/conf/cf.d/mscsi
That will show what was linked into the kernel at last relink.

It looks like the 1s0 disk is missing - check to see how many drives are actually istalled in the machine and see if the SCSI bios shows them all and they match what is in mscsi.

Example of mscsi: (shows one raid disk at ID 0 on the aacraid controller, an IDE CD drive and a tape drive on an adaptec controller)
