Installing Irix on SGI Fuel

I am having trouble installing on SGI Fuel Irix 6.5 installation.  I can boot up to the PROM and whenever I attempt to install thru the console or through command line I keep receiving the error of no such device i.e. dksc(0,1,0)unix: no such device.  I have (2) 73 GB disks installed thru the scsi.  Anybody have any advice how to get this installation started?  It's baffling me.  Everything seems to be correct with jumper settings.  I'll try to use just one disk instead daisy chaining the 2 drives.  At the mean time anybody have any suggestions or solutions?  Thanks in advance.
