Browse All TopicsI have a problem whereby I have loaded the 'july 2005 recut' CD onto a HP DL380 G4 with 2 mirrored drives with 2 hot spares. As is usual during the install - It only saw the 1st 'drive' . It was partitioned equally into 2 36G partitions - the 1st being active /dev/rhd00 & the 2nd inactive /dev/rhd01.
The install was completed, then the ciss.btld loaded. This enabled the 2nd drive to be 'seen' as ls0. My problem is changes in 'disk1-partition1' /rhd00 are reflected in /rhd01. That is, if the divvy command is run in one of them - it affects the other...The 2nd 'drive' is unaffected as it only 1 partition. Why is this so & how do I stop it??
