DNS server(Using bind 8 or 9) configuration in solaris 8

Hi,

how to connfigure DNS in Solaris 8. I have to implement DNS in practical environment.I want some bodys help or you have clear documents or procedures.I want to configure primary and secondary servers.How to configue clients also.I want some documents or clear step for installing DNS in solaris 8

take a look at the DNS/BIND book by O'Reilly...it's very informative and will help you learn to configure DNS.
It tells you everything you need to know.

DNS is too big to answer in this simple email.

named.conf should be in in /etc.

mock.zone, mock.rzone, mock.loopback, dns.root should
be in /var/dns.
