Access Sun Solaris 5.8 from Windows 2000 with VNC - configuration problem

I already use vncserver on Linux to access it from Windows.
I had to adapt the $HOM/.vnc/xstartup to be able to see my "favorite" gnome interface
Now I need to do the same but accessing a Sun Solaris 5.8
I installed the vnc on that machine, configured a little bit (xauth etc) and succeeded from Windows to get the access. But as the xstartup is the original, only a windows appears with a twn session, which is normal.
I now I have to call some script to have exactly the same environment as for a X-session but I can't locate it.
I modified the xstartup replacing the twn with xfwm (found that somewhere) but this is not perfect at all..
So, where is that script defined ?
I am not familiar at all with Sun Solaris
