Making PATH variable persistent in bash for Solaris 10

Asked by manuel2002m in Sun Solaris

Hi
I installed Solaris 10 on a T1000.
I use "bash" shell, so the first thing I do after I get the "#" prompt is typing "bash" to change the shell, then, I type manually my PATH so I type commands without the complete path.
I type the path  like this
PATH=$PATH:/opt/SUNWldm/bin; export PATH
How can I add the PATH so is persistent after I reboot the server?
Also, how I can have "bash" dy default for root?
Can anybody give me some step by step instructions?
Thanks
