Hmm. Still no attachment, just the body of the message...
I also tried deleting the dash after 'cat messagebody', but still no attachment.
I have read how to send a mailx message and how to send an attached file in Solaris 10.
I can do one or the other, but I seem to be unable to do both at the same time.

I'm glad that it works. mailx expects message from standard input in text form. Command 'cat messagebody -' concatenates content of file 'messagebody' with
output from previous command in pipe, i.e. uuencode, and sends it to mailx. So you need blank lines to separate content of 'messagebody' file from encoded attachment.
