On Solaris 10, /usr/lib/snmp/snmpdx is the default bundled with the OS. The /usr/sfw/sbin/snmpd is somewhat the net-snmp installation. But my further question, what different role they play when they co-existed and running? Should one be disabled? What port each process is listening? I have seen the port 161 from /etc/services and netstat result. Are they both listening to the same port?

SNMPDX is Solaris's SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) master agent .
SNMPD is the SNMP master agent from the third party NET-SNMP package (optional software), that's why it is installed in /usr/sfw.
