Unfortunately, I'm afraid that there is no (!) other way than restoring using vrestore on Tru64

I'am trying to restore the backup in windows(any verson) , which was taken in Compaq Tru64 Unix system. The backup was taken using 'vdump' command and currently i don't have any unix system to restore the same. Can anybody guide me in restoring this in windows.

I would see if any of the Cygwin tools can handle this.
Other option is to create a dual boot machine with linux or use a Live CD ( Knoppix, Ubuntu etc )
I would first find out what vdump is compatible with.
