Browse All TopicsHP enterprise system - GS1280, it has 16 CPUs and 32GB ram. Server was falling over while idle. I identified and replaced a faulty CPU. However the system is still falling over, the only thing I could find before and after the CPU replacement are the errors below. havent had much luck on google, i think its related to the HBAs or the driver/firmware but am not sure if this is something that could bring the system down.

can you do a firmware update / upgrade for your system (from the >>> prompt boot from the firmware update cd. There is usually a procedure for each server model) You need to take full backup of your system before starting this and do not disturb the process nor try to shutdown / power off during this update. Its better to get it done by qualified HP/Digital field service engineer.
Some times you need to re seat boards and cards, etc.
