If your using Windows 7, you have to use to snipping tool now. Click Start-Run and insert this command to get it to run "control appwiz.cpl"
When it's open you will the snipping toolbar now. just click new and drag your mouse over the parts you want to copy. it will open the new picture for you to save.

press the print screen button on the righ hand side of the keyboard at the top
This will make a copy of the whole screen, then open paint or which ever graphics application you wish to use, then paste it onto a blank page either by right clicking the mouse or by pressing ctrl and v at the same time.
You now have a picture of the full screen, just select the area you wish to keep and if your using paint then click on `edit' to open a menu, then click on `copy to' , give it a name then click on save this will automaticaly save the selected area to your picture folder.
