VMWare Authorization Service vmauthd 100 error

The VMWare Authorization Service is writing the following vmauthd 100 error message to my application event log whenver I reboot the host:

The description for Event ID ( 100 ) in Source ( vmauthd ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Request by process 3640 to open '\\.\vmx86': unrecognized pid

Can anyone tell me how to fix it?
