cannot log on to pop3 server

I have setup sendmail and cyrus imap and pop3 server as well as created an email account. But whenever I use an email client software to logon it will give me the following error

There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'Sales @ Enliven', Server: 'enliven.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR [SYS/PERM] Unable to locate maildrop', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

If I telnet localhost 110, I would get the following errors

+OK SERVER.ENLIVEN.COM Cyrus POP3 v2.2.6-Invoca-RPM-2.2.6-2.FC3.6 server ready <1299635036.1112634561@SERVER.ENLIVEN.COM>
USER ensales
+OK Name is a valid mailbox
PASS 1234
-ERR [SYS/PERM] Unable to locate maildrop

Any idea how to resolve this problems? I am using Fedora 3.

I am not able to run imtest -m login -a cyrus localhost
Is there another package I need to install for the imtest to work?
imtest is part of the cyrus-imapd-utils package. Is it installed?

I have done all that, and when I telnet localhost 110, I still get the same error message, even though I create a new mail box from cyradm (cm ensales).

my mistake, manage to logon successfully, however I am not able to receive any email.
User mail boxes in Cyrus would need to be created as user.username, e.g., "cm user.ensales". Without the user. prefix you are creating global mailboxes that aren't associated with a user account.
