MOUNTING NTFS PARTITION

Hi,

I have recently installed Linux Mandrake 8.1  I would like to mount my ntfs drives.  Currently in my /etc/fstab file I have:

/dev/hda1 /mnt/win_c ntfs iocharset=iso8859-1 0 0
/dev/hda5 /mnt/win_d ntfs iocharset=iso8859-1 0 0
/dev/hda6 /mnt/win_e ntfs iocharset=iso8859-1 0 0

However, as root I can access the ntfs partitions, however, as a user 'david' I am unable to view the partitions.  Could anyone please help with this problem?
