asked on
getting mapped drive info in a batch file
hey folks!
when i look at my mapped drives in 'my computer' or in an application like word, it says something like:
HO_Data_Processing on 'fs01' (T:)
and i can rename the HO_Data_Processing on 'fs01' part, if i right click. what i want to know is . . .
is there a way to get that name from some batch command?
dmdiag gives this, but it gives way more than i want. i'd like something that would just give the name, so i can use it elsewhere.
thanx in advance :)
