Can't show Macintosh disk partitions in Boot Camp
I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place, but... I have a MacBook running OS 10.4 with Windows XP also installed via Boot Camp. When I set up Boot Camp, I had to partition my hard drive -- one partition runs OS X and one runs XP. Everything works fine on the OS X side, but when I'm running XP, Windows can't seem to find the Mac partition. Or, to be more precise, I can't figure out how to mount the Mac partition.
If, in XP, I go to Control Panels --> Administrative Tools --> Computer Management and then click on the Disk Management leaf in the tree, the Mac partition is visible on "Disk 0" and listed as "Healthy (Unknown Partition)." But when I right-click on that partition, the only thing the snap-in lets me do is delete it, which I'm pretty sure I don't want to do. Does anybody have some ideas?
Thanks,
Jay

My guess is that the Mac partition is formatted as HFS+ which is a format that XP can't read.
By the way, my understanding is that this is normal behaviour. Here are some products that will allow you to read a drive formatted for Mac from XP:

Thanks a lot.... I wonder if future releases of Boot Camp are going to deal with this issue.
You would expect they would.
By the way, have you tried Parallels: https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/22063920/Can't-show-Macintosh-disk-partitions-in-Boot-Camp.html?anchorAnswerId=17964366#a17964366
